CXO Advisors winning deals with leading multinationals

Hunter-based business, CXO Advisors, is celebrating its continued growth in the Australian market.

The company, founded by Graeme Keddie, has undertaken a number of large-scale projects since launching late last year, with more national deals in the pipeline.

Graeme believes the success of CXO Advisors lies in its unique appeal for Australian businesses seeking part-time executive services. Having identified this gap in the market, Graeme founded CXO to offer organisations executive level services on an interim, part-time or temporary basis. Applying their extensive skills and experience, CXO Advisors can assist organisations at any stage – from start-ups and small operations wanting to grow their businesses cost effectively, to larger corporates seeking to explore new industries or geographies with less risk.

The concept has proven a successful one, with Graeme working hard to meet strong demand for CXO services. Since launching less than twelve months ago, CXO Advisors has won a number of projects with leading multinationals including engineering, science and technology firm BMT WBM and Advisian, part of the international engineering conglomerate WorleyParsons.

To meet the strong and growing demand for its services, CXO Advisors is now looking to recruit new advisors to the organisation. The company engages advisors based on their previous experience and success working for top national or multinational firms at an executive management level. Graeme says that while potential advisors must demonstrate technical expertise, they must also have proven strategic ability.

“We are looking for advisors with a number of years’ executive experience across various business functions, including IT, HR, Finance and Marketing,” Graeme said.

“CXO needs advisors who can meet our clients’ expectations of excellence and demonstrate results under pressure. Advisors must be able to understand the broad strategic context of the environment they are working in, quickly come to terms with an organisations challenges and opportunities, and deliver commercially-driven, business-focussed outcomes for our clients.”

The success of CXO Advisors in the national market is great news for other Hunter businesses that might be looking to minimise the impact of the local mining downturn by looking to other regions to maintain revenue. Graeme says:

“There are definitely opportunities out there for organisations looking to do things a little differently and for companies who are flexible enough to work outside the Hunter region,” Graeme concluded.
