Tickets are now on sale for the fifth annual Variety of Chefs Gala Dinner proudly supported by Greater Bank, this will be an unforgettable night including an incredible culinary experience, exclusive entertainment and amazing auction items.
Funds raised from the night will go towards Variety – the Children’s Charity helping Hunter region kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
The four-course decadent menu will be prepared by acclaimed and hatted chefs including celebrity chef Jason Roberts, Mal Meiers from Subo, Mitchell Turner from Rick Stein at Banisters, Chris Thornton from Restaurant Mason and Matt Skelton from NEX.
Celebrity chef Jason Roberts, a New Zealand native who splits his time between Sydney and New York City, is an internationally known chef, author, television personality, fitness enthusiast and gluten free lifestyle advocate.
The 2019 Variety of Chefs event will aim to raise more than $130,000 which will go towards helping local kids in need.
The theme of the evening will make guests feel like they are dining under the night sky with each course including a native ingredient along with theming and entertainment encompassing all things ‘Dinner Under the Stars’.
Variety of Chefs has raised more than $400,000 over the past four years which Variety has used to help more than 12,000 local kids.
However, Variety is focussed on supporting as many kids in need in the Hunter as possible with 6,225[1] kids living with a disability and 15,996[2] kids living in poverty which equates to one in seven kids in the Hunter living in poverty.
“The fifth annual Variety of Chefs Gala Dinner is a fabulous opportunity for the local community, both individuals and businesses, to come together to help local kids in need,” Jason Bourke, Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT Head of Regional Development said.
The team of world class chefs will provide live demonstrations and a Lucky Key prize draw which allows guests to win an amazing international travel package worth more than $5,000.
Variety of Chefs will also be the last opportunity to get your tickets for the ASN Give Back to Kids car raffle for the chance to win a Toyota CH-R Koba valued at $38,000.
