Tortoise & Hare CX Agency is celebrating a decade of excellence in customer experience (CX) innovation and leadership in 2024.
Formerly known as AM-i Customer Engagement Agency, the business rebranded two years ago and has evolved into CX experts, focused on shaping the landscape of customer-centric strategies for Australian brands.
If you’ve ever bought medical insurance, shopped clothes online or redeemed loyalty points, there’s a good chance it was made by the Newcastle-based team.
Reflecting on their journey, Director of CX Agency, Angela Cobb said that they are excited for where they are heading and look forward to expanding their expertise further.
“To be in business for ten years has taken decades of client and agency-side experience, real investment and focused momentum,” Angela said.
“We’re excited to celebrate how far we’ve come and build anticipation for where we are headed. It’s a chance to reinforce our identity as CX experts, reflecting on our learnings with partners, clients and prospects.”
Directors Oliver Stewart, Nicholas Wonders, and Angela Cobb have led a team of customer experts to new heights, playing the role of advisor to businesses like nib, Myer, Woolworths, Qudos Bank, Bupa, Virgin, Kmart, Cashrewards, Endeavour Group and more.
“We’re proud to have our roots in Newcastle, and demonstrate that groundbreaking CX initiatives thrive outside the confines of capital cities,” Oliver said.

In honour of the ten-year milestone, Tortoise & Hare CX Agency will release a CX Playbook in May this year – featuring ten customer insights garnered from years of industry-leading experience.
This Playbook will be a testament to the agency’s dedication to sharing knowledge and empowering brands to navigate the evolving CX landscape with confidence.
Director, Nicholas Wonders also expressed his optimism for the future.
