PRD Newcastle and Lake Macquarie’s Mark Kentwell has been named one of Australia’s leading real estate agents in a national ranking of the industry’s top 100 performers across all brands.
Mark has been ranked 26th in the country, out of an estimated 40,000 agents in the Real Estate Business (REB) Top 100 agents list for 2020.
He has also topped the list out of all Newcastle, Hunter and Port Stephens real estate agents from any company.
Mark said that the ranking comes as a great honour, and thanks his PRD Newcastle and Lake Macquarie team for making it possible.
“I couldn’t have done this without the engine we have built at PRD Newcastle and Lake Macquarie where all our agents get to use the same tools I use,” Mark said.
“As a selling principal in the business, I’m continually training our team to use the same techniques for all our clients so they can achieve top results too.”
“It’s humbling to be independently recognised across all brands in Australia in what was a challenging year in real estate with a lot of market adjustments, and whilst it’s great to be singled out, the real measure of our achievement is the success of our clients,” he added.
Now in its ninth year, the list is deemed to be the benchmark of success in Australian real estate and highlights agents who have navigated their way through challenging markets and used their expertise to ensure the best results.
Agents are judged on a series of metrics including the number of residential properties sold, the total dollar value of properties sold and the average sales value for the 2019 calendar year.
In the past year, Mark sold 139 properties with a total value of almost $133 million with an average sale price of $956,092. These numbers saw Mark also top the list for the PRD brand across Australia.
“I especially want to thank all of our clients for trusting me to handle their residential property transactions,” he said.
“When you run a business there are always multiple priorities to manage, but my main focus is always to look after our agents and clients equally,” he concluded.
