Property development industry stalwart Nadine Hipps has joined PRDnationwide Newcastle and Lake Macquarie as the agency continues to grow its project marketing presence.
Nadine’s appointment follows her three and a half year tenure as Hunter regional manager for the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW, where she played a pivotal role in liaising with the local development community.
Nadine will work in business development and event coordination with agency managing director Mark Kentwell as new development in the city continues to intensify.
Mark said Nadine’s appointment was a logical step after the agency launched its project marketing arm and CBD display suite, Newcastle New Projects, last year.
“We’re increasingly dealing with local and national developers as they look to capitalise on Newcastle’s growth and urban renewal,” Mark said.
“Nadine will play an integral role in engaging the community with new projects and showcasing our investment opportunities nationally and internationally.”
“She has a passion for the development industry and an even deeper passion for Newcastle so her appointment to this position is highly fitting.”
Nadine said her position at Newcastle New Projects came at an exciting time for the city.
“The development pipeline for Newcastle is really ramping up ‚Äì there’s significant growth already underway,” she said.
“I’ve developed a passion for development and urban renewal so I’m excited to have the opportunity to share Newcastle’s story with potential investors.”
“Mark and the team are highly supportive and it’s great to be a part of a thriving agency.”
Nadine also has a background in marketing and has worked internationally for renowned architectural and construction firms.
Newcastle New Projects is located on 113-145 Hunter where, in addition to project sales, it offers the public a wealth of project and urban renewal information.
The suite features interactive technology showcasing all current active projects in the CBD and provides details of the area’s urban redevelopment plans.
Newcastle New Projects hosts regular information evenings known as Suite Sessions. The events serve as an educational forum for the Newcastle community to learn about the driving change in the city, share ideas, and view new projects planned for Newcastle.
The next Suite Session will be held on March 19 at 5pm and those interested can register online.
