Newcastle Financial Planning Group (NFPG) CEO, Daniel Brown, has been named a finalist in two major awards programs, acknowledging excellence in business leadership.
Daniel will go head to head in the Regional Business Leader of the Year category of the My Business Awards, Australia’s largest independent awards program acknowledging the outstanding achievements of small to medium businesses.
The award category recognises the regional business leader who has most effectively shaped their business’ success and delivered outstanding growth and development.
The CEO and founder of Newcastle Financial Planning Group – his flagship business, and Central Coast Financial Planning Group (CCFPG), Daniel is also a Specialist Adviser for Capital Property Investment Advisers (CPIA), Fortuity Lending and Fortuity Business Coaching.
Under Daniel’s leadership, NFPG and CCFPG engages with clients in all different phases of life; from those looking to build strong foundations for their family, to those looking to create wealth, and those who are preparing for retirement.

Daniel is also a finalist in the XY Brains Trust Awards 2019, celebrating advisers driving the positive evolution of financial advice – as voted by the XY Community.
XY, the social network for financial advisers, has more than 3,500 members. Daniel is shortlisted for the Most Valuable Marketing category.
Daniel said he was extremely humbled to be in consideration for both awards.

The My Business gala dinner awards ceremony will be staged at The Star Sydney on Friday 15 November.
The XY awards will be announced on Thursday 21 November, also in Sydney.
