Property Solutions 101 recently asked the Newcastle business community to put their money where their mouth was and the results were spectacular.
With the title of PS101 Burg Challenge winner up for grabs and a pretty impressive trophy all in the hope of raising money for Charlie’s Run 4 Kids, a hungry group of local Novocastrian businesses descended on Newy Burger Co. on Friday 20 October to take on the challenge.
A total of 22 Newcastle business people participated joined forces to raise money for the cause and participate in the challenge. Director of Property Solutions 101, Kylie Frearson, said the day was a huge success.
“It was a fantastic day. We raised over $5,500 for Charlie’s Run 4 Kids and had a huge amount of fun in the process,” Kylie said.
The announced winner of the challenge was Jamie Miller from Downer Group who managed to eat a total of 13 burgers. Jamie was unanimously announced as the winner on the day. A special mention must go to Diezel from Kruzin Boards Australia who, at nine years of age, competed in the challenge and worked his way through an impressive three burgers.
