Newcastle Permanent Building Society has announced the appointment of Jennifer Leslie as a Non-Executive Director to its Board this week.
Jennifer is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is the Director of Wealth Management with the accounting and business advisory firm Pitcher Partners and has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years. Jennifer is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Accountant – Financial Planning Specialist, a Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Newcastle Permanent Chairman, Michael Slater, said the appointment recognised Jennifer’s formal qualifications and directorial experience.

“Jennifer has a well-established career forged in the Hunter Region, including ten years as a Director at a Hunter financial services firm, and I am confident her skills will complement those of other Newcastle Permanent Directors.”

Jennifer was named 2007 NSW Woman of the Year by Business and Professional Women Australia and joins other Directors Michael (Chairman), Jeffrey Eather, Warren Elliott, Ross Griffiths, Barrie Lewis, Samantha Martin-Williams, Phil Neat and David Shanley.
