This month Monica Clare Recruitment is excited to announce both Rachael Findley and Jillian Heggart have joined the team as Recruitment Consultants. Together, their experience adds almost four decades of knowledge to the team.
Rachael Findley joins with nine years of specialist recruitment experience in accounting and finance and an additional 10 in HR. Her experience spans many industries: local government, not-for-profit, mining, hospitality, and consultancy.
She is thrilled to continue to provide opportunities to her vast network, specialising in finance recruitment alongside MCR Business Director, Simon Rutten.
Jillian Heggart brings 20+ years of experience to her role as Recruitment Consultant. She has worked in sales, project management, operations, and property development, with recent tenures at Leacy Group and Commercial Collective.
She’s excited to apply her property experience to continue to build MCR’s construction recruitment desk with Senior Recruitment Consultant, Mel Evans.
On joining MCR
Rachael, on her move to MCR, cites wanting to work for an organisation that aligned with her values.
“I wanted to work for an organisation I respected in the market. Given I had a long working relationship with Clare [Ferguson], I already knew how she ran her business and that MCR would be an organisation with core values that matched my own,” Rachael said.
“I’m even more excited at the prospect of working with Simon and learning from him. He’s a true professional and so well regarded in his field,” she said.
Jillian also had an existing professional relationship with Clare, and this inspired her move to MCR.
“There’s always been an instant sense of familiarity with Clare and Krystle. I’m excited by, and deeply respect, the way they run their business, their team engagement and way the business operates,” Jillian said.
“I wanted to move back to a sales environment and knowing I could return to the fast pace under Clare and Krystle at MCR, was too good of an opportunity,” she explained.
Both Rachael and Jillian called the move “meant to be.”

Rachael and Jillian join MCR at an exciting time. The market is very active and predicted to only get busier.

Jillian says trust is the cornerstone of any client relationship.
“I’m deeply passionate about client engagement and client experience. I’ve sold lots of different things in my career, and I’ve found that you need to develop trusted relationships to solve business problems and properly market your solution,” she explained.
Rachael is motivated by creating positive change in her industry.
“I’ve seen the best and the worst of HR, but I want to focus on the opportunities,” she said.
“At the core, I’m driven by providing opportunities for people in my network, so that they secure great roles. It’s as simple as that,” she finished.
