Marissa Dimarco has joined Newcastle based legal firm, Osborn Law, as a director working in their commercial team.
Osborn Law Solicitor Director, Tim Osborn, said the appointment of Marissa added further depth and expertise to their service offering, with her approach a natural fit for their clients.

Marissa has more than 18 years of experience in the legal profession, and has practised in the dedicated areas of Corporate & Business, Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Property & Development for 10 years.
She specialises in commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, share sales, business sales, structuring advice, commercial contracts and procurement advice.
Marissa has significant expertise in property law providing advice to clients in relation to residential conveyancing and associated finance, residential developments, subdivisions of land, strata developments, community title developments, private mortgages, easements, restrictions on use and retail and commercial leasing. She has recently acted on behalf of developers in relation to large land subdivisions including the preparation of all documentation for the development of each stage.
Appearing in all court jurisdictions including the High Court of Australia, Marissa further has extensive litigation and dispute resolution experience. She has also appeared in a number of tribunals. Additionally, Marissa has experience in the niche area of water trading under the Water Management Act 2000 and Water Act 1912 and was awarded the Hunter Business Chamber Young Achiever of the Year Award in 2009.
Marissa says she prides herself on being able to service all of a client’s commercial needs and to assist them to bring about a timely and cost effective resolution to any disputes which arise.
“I enjoy practising in corporate and business, as well as property and development as I like being involved in all aspects of a project from structuring through to completion and assisting client’s to meet their objectives in relation to a particular project,” Marissa said.
