Paint store network, Inspirations Paint has been crowned the winner of the Franchise Council of Australia’s (FCA) National Awards in the Excellence in Marketing category.
The annual FCA Awards, which were held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, recognise and reward excellence and provide a platform for companies to showcase the amazing work they are doing in the franchising sector.
The FCA Marketing Award is for excellence in strategy and execution of a marketing program within a franchise system. The Newcastle-based national retailer came out on top in a competitive category of finalists, including Boost Juice, Battery World, Roll’d and Kwik Kopy.
The Inspirations Paint submission focussed on the integrated internal communication campaign to re-launch their Paint Club loyalty program. The consultative approach combined with a multifaceted communications campaign led to significant improvements in database quality and loyalty program engagement among franchisees and staff.
Head of Marketing at Inspirations Paint, Joel Goodsir said Inspirations Paint stores give customers personal attention to their painting projects.
“As the franchisor, we support our stores to achieve this every day through our marketing initiatives and customer programs,” Joel said.
“We have a dedicated team of marketers who work passionately to build the Inspirations Paint brand and are honoured to be recognised for our work by the Franchise Council of Australia.”
The FCA Awards are the preeminent awards for the Franchise industry in Australia, which represents $146b in revenue and employs over 570,000 Australians.
Inspirations Paint started out as a buying group of five stores in Newcastle in 1979 and now boasts over 100 stores across the country. The franchise now sells 22million litres of paint or 1-in-every-6-litres of paint to the Australian market each year, turning over $300m.
