Innovation redefines client approach

PKF’s Newcastle office has launch a revolutionary new approach to client service, embracing technology and collaboration to design and deliver the future of choice their clients envisage.

Managing Director of PKF Newcastle, Steve Meyn, said that the Future of Choice would ensure that the firm understands the specific goals of its clients so all strategies, advice and services align to achieve a common objective.

“All too often in business we focus on what and how; when we really need to remain focused on why. Why we got into business and why we do what we do,” Steve sai.d

“At PKF, we know that our clients need clarity about their personal goals as well as their business goals. The power of Future of Choice is the clarity it gives our clients which leads to greater confidence and higher degrees of certainty. Certainty in business, financially and our personal lives is what everyone desires.”

“Typically, accountants and advisors focus their advice on tax, compliance and business. The Future of Choice approach is different as it puts the individuals, stakeholders and the family behind the business at the centre of all of our advice. Making sure the advisors, the individuals and the related actions are all working towards identified goals is a massive step in building a successful business,” he said.

To help deliver this innovative approach to client service, the Future of Choice provides clients and advisors with a range of unique tools, explains Business Advisory Director, Andrew Beattie.

“The Personal Wealth Portal provides secure document management, but it is much more than just a cloud storage solution,” Andrew said.

“The Future of Choice Wealth Portal truly provides clients with everything in one place; all of their assets and liabilities, linked credit cards, bank accounts and home loans, as well as real-time data feeds of property values, superannuation, investments and credit cards from leading data providers. This ensures an up-to-date snapshot of their wealth position from anywhere they have internet access.”

“Our clients can also store and access all of their important personal information like wills and estate planning, asset protection and passports. It also simplifies tax time by securely storing relevant receipts and statements throughout the year,” he said.

Steve added that the Future of Choice also includes another PKF innovation, the Wealth Calculator.

“This tool allows us to understand our client’s current financial position, when they want to be financially free and then determine whether their current assets and income are sufficient to achieve their retirement goals. This places us as advisors and our clients in the perfect position to be able to resolve any wealth gaps they might have well in advance of their desired retirement age.”

“We believe our approach is changing the way advice is delivered. The level of information available to our clients and our advisors, and the collaboration this allows ensures consistent advice that is truly targeted towards what our clients want to achieve,” he said.
