Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards calls for final entries

The Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards (HRBEA) is calling for final entries ahead of its 30 March 2025 deadline.

Now celebrating its 30th year, the HRBEA is the region’s longest-running business awards program and continues to recognise the achievements, demonstrations of innovation, and community contributions of local businesses across a wide range of industries.

From startups to established enterprises, the awards feature categories for all business sizes and sectors, offering a unique opportunity for local businesses to reflect and celebrate their achievements and raise their profile within the Hunter business community.

2024’s Not-For-Profit of the Year, Mai-Wel Group credits the awards for helping validate their work and expand their impact.

“Winning this award meant an incredible amount to Mai-Wel, our people and the individuals we support. It validated the tireless work of our team and encouraged us to expand our services and programs,” CEO, John Cleary said.

Hunter Region Business Hub General Manager, Kerry Hallett said that entering the awards provides an important opportunity for businesses to stop and take stock.

“Often our local business owners and teams are busy delivering their services and may not take the time to reflect on their success,” Kerry said. “The awards process is a great way to ensure those wins don’t go unnoticed.”

Winners will be announced at a gala event on 30 May 2025.

With less than five weeks to go, businesses across the Hunter are encouraged to get their entries in now and join in celebrating 30 years of local business excellence.
