Cutcher & Neale, Palfreyman Chartered Accountant, Leenane Templeton and PLH Accountants are amongst few who have come out on top at the NSW 2018 SMSF & Accounting Awards.
Cutcher & Neale was awarded SMSF Firm of the Year and Partner, Phil Smith, was awarded SMSF Investment Strategist of the Year.
In a sign of the strength of business in the Hunter region, a number of other local businesses received accolades at the awards, including Leenane Templeton (Community Engagement Program of the Year) and PLH Accountants (Customer Service Firm of the Year).
Palfreyman Chartered Accountant was also a big player at the awards. The local business was awarded the Overall Excellence Award and Principal, Simone Palfreyman was awarded Regional Professional of the Year and Partner of the Year, before being accounted as the highest scoring nomination.
The SMSF and Accounting Awards is a nationwide industry event that recognises state-based performance in SMSF and accounting professions across Australia. This event honours the individuals and businesses who are leading the way in SMSF advice and accounting by championing professionalism, quality advice and innovation.
Phil said the recognition Cutcher & Neale received reflected the full team’s effort.
“The awards are great recognition for everyone at Cutcher & Neale and the hard work we all put in, but the biggest winners are our clients, who are at the heart of everything we do,” Phil said.
SMSF Adviser’s Head of Sales portfolio, Terry Braithwaite congratulated all the winners and finalists for this year.
“All the finalists for this year demonstrated strong dedication to servicing their clients through their passion, hard work and technical expertise,” Terry said.
The awards were announced at a gala dinner held in Sydney.
