The Hunter Business Chamber will move to a larger office next month following a successful three years at the TAFE NSW campus on Parry Street in Newcastle West.
The Chamber will call the MBA building at the corner of Lambton Road and Turton Road in Broadmeadow home from mid-November.
Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber, Bob Hawes said that the organisation has experienced positive growth over three years at the Newcastle West site.
“With more than 2,000 business members across the Chamber network here in the Hunter, the organisation is the largest regional Chamber in Australia and is strongly focused on business growth across the whole region,” Bob said.
“Our flagship membership base, Hunter First, has grown substantially, and the move will ensure the right resources are in place to help the Chamber grow even more and provide additional support to the businesses community into the future.”
NSW Business Chamber’s Apprenticeship Support Australia, the AusIndustry Entrepreneurs’ Program and Apprenticeship Careers Australia will share office space with the Hunter Business Chamber in the building.
Bob said the partnership shared with Hunter TAFE before and during their time on-site has been invaluable.
“We’ve been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work so closely with TAFE NSW for many years, pre-dating our move to the Parry Street Campus,” Bob said.
“We’re looking forward to continuing this close working relationship with TAFE NSW into 2018 and beyond.
“The Hunter Business Chamber will remain focused on assisting businesses throughout the region from our bustling, centrally located office in Broadmeadow.
“Staff and Directors here at the Chamber are eagerly anticipating the move. We’re excited about continuing to engage with businesses and support them from our new premises starting in November.”
