Hunter Allied Care wins bronze Stevie Award at the International Business Awards

Hunter Allied Care has been named the winner of a Bronze Stevie Award in the Health Products and Services (Small) category at the 17th Annual International Business Awards in September.

The local Hamilton business was praised by the judges for their commitment to holistic health care andinnovation in the health industry with one judge saying the company has a vision of tomorrow.

The International Business Awards are one of the world’s premier business awards program, recognising and honouring organisations of all types and sizes and the people behind them.

More than 3,800 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 250 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from July through early September.

Hunter Allied Care Owner, Simone Le Mesurier was thankful for the recognition and for the hard work ofher team.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing team who sticks together no matter what and who have been able to stay positive and determined throughout a year like no other,” she said.

Simone said that the Award has encouraged Hunter Allied Care staff to continue to work hard at providing Novocastrians with holistic health care that values every facet of the health and wellness journey, as well as expand to provide additional services.

“We have big plans for 2021. We have an additional location in the works and will be introducing yoga classes and therapy in our new space,” she said.

Hunter Allied Care Administrator, Meg Hassan, says that while nothing compares to watching patient’s health and wellbeing improve, this comes close.

“It is so exciting! It’s not often that your hard work gets recognised on a global scale and the whole team was over the moon when we heard the news.”

With less than ten employees, Hunter Allied Care is a small business that has grown to great heights since opening in 2017.

They were the recipient of the Bronze Award for Innovation in Health & Wellness in the 2020 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards earlier this year in July and won the Hunter Business Awards Start Up Superstar in 2019.

They were also finalists in the 2019 State Business Awards and the 2020 Australian Small BusinessChampion Awards.
