Local electrician and business owner, Troy Powell, is celebrating 40 years in the electrical industry this year and his work anniversary has coincided with a major company rebrand.
Previously part of the Platinum Electricians franchise, Founder and Director Troy Powell decided to mark four decades by branching off his Newcastle division with a complete brand re-haul. The business is now operating under the name Powellect.
The new name captures what Powellect is all about, which is a continuation of the principles of customer service that Troy learnt throughout his career.
“Joining a franchise provided me with the support I needed to get started in business and I will be forever grateful for that. It set the foundations for me and what it means to have a successful business,” Troy said.
“Which is really that communication is paramount to a successful customer relationship, whilst integrity is the basis upon which that relationship is built.”
The rebrand and rename represents a significant step in the company’s evolution, a locally owned company. The new brand was developed through a collaborative process and reflects Troy’s passion for the industry and his years of experience.
“This change has been made possible by our loyal customers and is very much appreciated. We will continue to provide our clients with the best service we can and look forward to positive times ahead,” he said.
“Our catchphrase is Powered by experience. I have been an electrician for 40 years and I have seen enough in my time to know that no one person will ever be able to say, “I know everything about the electrical trade.” This trade is so diverse and there is always something new to learn.
“That being said, our knowledge, skills and partnerships ensure our customers’ needs are always taken care of.”
Troy and the team have already received positive feedback surrounding the rebrand from clients and new customers.
The rebrand has positioned his business as a distinct local brand and trusted company with many saying they will use Powellect’s services more often because of this.
