Eden Brae Homes has launched its $10 million regional headquarters in Beresfield, complete with an immersive design studio.
The development of the commercial centre incorporating the design space – Studio Eden – saw local construction company Drayton Group employed for construction.
Eden Brae Homes has invested over $70 million in the Hunter this last year through new home builds, the construction of their Hunter headquarters and flagship design studio, direct employment, local supplier, and subcontracting workforce.
Eden Brae Homes Director, Todd Symons said he wants to keep jobs local and help sustain the regional building industry.
“Beresfield was chosen as the best location in NSW for us to base our regional headquarters and customer design studio, given the strong population growth forecast for the nearby Maitland region and expansive supplier network on the doorstep,” Todd said.
“With working from home now a reality for many, tree-changers are taking advantage of the rural estates across the Hunter Valley and more downsizers are choosing the coastal regional centres.”
The commercial building is set over 2,000 square metres. It was designed by award-winning architect Bates Smart with carbon footprint considerations at the forefront of the project.
In line with Eden Brae Homes ISO 14001 Environment Accreditation, the development includes investment in renewable energy with a solar power system that will see the building operating completely off the grid.
Studio Eden is offered for exclusive use by Eden Brae clients looking to curate their dream home, with each person seen as a partner in the design process.
“We don’t build homes for our clients, we build it with them,” Todd said.
“Our clients are taken on a design journey, with experts guiding them through every decision from the outside in, and the ground up – think brickwork, flooring, tiles, tapware, joinery, colour schemes, luxe bathroom and kitchen offerings, all the way down to your handles.”
Helping build resilience in the Hunter, Eden Brae’s new development supports the sustainable growth of the Hunter housing market.
