Doyle’s Guide nod for Newcastle Divorce Lawyer, Merridy Elphick

Family law expert, Merridy Elphick, has further cemented her reputation as one of the leading divorce lawyers in Newcastle by being named in the prestigious Doyle’s Guide for the second year in a row.

Merridy is one of six declared Recommended Family and Divorce Lawyers in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast regions for 2021, as nominated by her peers.

Merridy Elphick Lawyers has also been recognised for its leadership, being named one of eight Recommended Family and Divorce Law Firms based in Newcastle, the Hunter, and Central Coast regions for 2021.

The accolades round out the individual Doyle’s Guide recommendation Merridy received in 2020.

Merridy said being Recommended by Doyle’s Guide personally and for the work of her firm is testament to their combined 40 years of experience in family law.

“The unique thing about Doyle’s Guide is that we have been identified by our peers for our expertise and abilities,” she said.

“At Merridy Elphick Lawyers, our philosophy is to provide sound and reasoned advice in a compassionate way.

“We’re thrilled that in the often difficult and emotional area of family and divorce law, our knowledge and experience is acknowledged in this way.”

Doyle’s Guide is a comprehensive, independent resource that delivers an annual assessment of Australia’s legal services.

The guide is intended to help people in need of legal advice access unbiased commentary to make informed choices when seeking to retain a lawyer specific to their requirements.

The 2021 listing of Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast family and divorce law firms details firms practising in family law, parenting, property, and spousal maintenance matters in the local legal market.

It is deemed to be the most reliable assessment of law firms and practitioners in Australia. Unlike other assessments, Doyle’s Guide does not allow paid profiling from law firms, lawyers, or barristers, nor require the participation of firms in its research.
