Daracon Group’s latest addition to its fleet, a Mack Superliner truck and quad dog, is turning heads as it hits the road. Officially welcomed by Executive Director David Mingay in late 2024, the gleaming blue powerhouse serves as a grand finale to the company’s 40th-anniversary celebrations. Equipped with a 600-horsepower engine, the Superliner is primed to handle heavy-duty haulage across the Hunter, Sydney, and Regional NSW, solidifying Daracon’s reputation for strength and reliability.
“You’re lucky in a fleet as large as ours to have the chance to secure a special truck like this one, especially as we just celebrated our 40th year of operation. Brandon from Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia was able to present the keys to our Founder and Owner David, which was made even more special as the branding on the truck includes our limited edition 40-year logo,” Daracon Group’s Transport Operations Manager Scott Brown said
Sporting a Mack Truck golden bulldog on the hood, the chassis has a complete Mack driveline, engine, trans and rear axles. This is topped off with a dazzling paint job, reflective of Daracon’s signature blue.
“I’m proud to work in partnership with Daracon providing their transport solutions. This truck one of those deliveries that you stand back and admire. This 600hp Superliner is perfect for the 20m truck and dog application and will do the job with ease. VCV Newcastle have a long-standing relationship with Daracon and We look forward to continuing that into the future for many years to come,” Brandon Hughes, Sales Representative at VCV Newcastle said.
Daracon offer a range of vertically integrated civil construction services including quarrying, bulk and heavy haulage, concrete, contract crushing, plant hire and deliver a range of major projects, subdivision construction, landscaping and more across the Sydney, the Hunter Valley and Regional North-West NSW.
