Belmont 16s joins Valentine Eleebana Football Club in Grounds Naming Rights Partnership

Lake Macquarie’s premier recreational and sailing club has signed on as naming rights sponsor of CB Complex. The ground will now be known as Belmont 16s Park.

Valentine FC President, Paul Gaden announced the deal at the latest committee meeting.

Paul said this new deal would help them play a part in developing the sport in the region.

“The deal would help foster continued development of the football pathways that VEFC offers for all players from Miniroos to NPL,” Paul said.

CEO of Belmont 16s, Scott Williams said “sporting teams like Valentine Eleebana FC need sponsorship to keep the Club growing and Belmont 16s Sailing Club is delighted to be involved.

“With Valentine Eleebana FC’s new facilities opening in 2023, it was the perfect opportunity for the two clubs to create this partnership.”

Belmont 16s Sailing Club has launched a revitalised community sporting sponsorship approach for 2023 by establishing the sponsorship of seven local Lake Macquarie sporting teams, associations, or organisations in addition to Valentine Eleebana Football Club.

These include Belmont Sailiability, Lakes United Rugby League Club, Belmont Sporties Netball and Cricket Clubs, Belmont Baseball Club, Belmont North Netball Club, Swansea Blacksmiths Surf Lifesaving Club and the Hunter Central Coast AFL Competition.

Scott Williams also mentioned “ultimately, we are a sailing club ourselves who recently celebrated our 100 years.

“Longevity like this, confirms we value how local sporting clubs can provide as a community and social anchor.”

Belmont 16s is presently undergoing a significant building transition, with their $20 million Centenary Construction Project.

Stage one of the ground floor renovation is at this time anticipated to reopen in mid-March 2023, and will feature two new look dining spaces, boasting renewed first floor access points, a transformed bar space and an enclosed refreshed children’s play zone, that doubles in size.

All construction stages are anticipated to be completed by the end of 2023. Once finished Belmont 16s will have expanded into offering three different and distinct bar choices, five unique dining offerings and upgraded members facilities and entertainment options as well as a stunning water view event space designed to host picturesque weddings and exclusive events.
