Monica Clare Recruitment (MCR) has announced a service expansion, adding a new HR Consultancy arm to the business.
This new offering will be led by Michelle Crawford, a HR professional and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience.
Michelle joins MCR as HR Organisational Development Manager after running a successful HR firm, Being More Human, for eight years.
Michelle’s work with MCR will continue alongside her business as a strategic alliance, offering clients a full-service package with human resources, recruitment, and organisational development.
Business Director, Simon Rutten has worked jointly with Michelle for the last three years. He views this as an opportunity to bolster MCR’s offering alongside a leader in the HR space.
“With Michelle at the helm of MCR’s HR consultancy, we have truly become a full-service HR and recruitment partner for businesses. We source great talent and then provide support to ensure all new hires are long-term,” Simon said.
“Michelle’s HR offering provides our clients additional solutions so they can excel. It means we are always accessible, on the ground with them, and truly in their business.”
Co-Founder, Clare Ferguson said Michelle is unmatched in her area of expertise.

With MCR, Michelle saw an opportunity to increase her offering and provide services outside of her scope, but still as part of one cohesive vision. She also relished once again joining a team, especially one known to make a difference in the region.
“I wanted to be part of a team again, a good team,” Michelle said.
“I have known Clare professionally for several years and saw how the business had grown. I thought there was an opportunity here to do something that breaks the traditional recruitment model and is a value-add for clients.

As part of MCR’s HR offering, Michelle will be facilitating leadership coaching, executive coaching, organisational strategy, career transitions, workplace mediation and outplacement services.
