Our primary purpose is supporting active community development which is enabled through the mechanism of a financially sustainable social enterprise. We offer quality venue hire and state of the art facilities that are accessible to the whole community. Located conveniently under Charlestown Square, our venue hire caters to individuals, groups, community organisations, and businesses at affordable rates.
The Place is responsive to the emerging needs of our community, enabling and supporting participant led community activities. We provide a range of programs and services for the whole community including social, educational and health-based programs and activities, information and referral support, a Kindness Cupboard, Art Display, Book Exchange and more!
