Friends with Dignity

Friends with Dignity is a volunteer based not-for-profit charity that works with refuge and crisis centres in the Hunter and other parts of Australia to provide practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence. All of its programs and support are gifted unconditionally to help people to re-build their lives with purpose, dignity, and hope. Programs include FriendSafe monitored smart watches and Little Friends scholarships and activity packs to young people impacted by domestic violence. A Sanctuary Program transforms houses into sanctuaries for people escaping violence. Friends With Dignity was named Charity of the Year in 2018.
