Women in Business weekend retreat

Women in Business weekend retreat

Entrepreneurial, Hunter-based trailblazer, Peita Breese is behind the Sisters Doing It For Themselves retreat, and is paving the way for others to follow their dreams.

The weekend of International Women's Day 2014 (8-9 March), marks the first annual retreat for women in business, in aid of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Peita, founder of PinUp Kittens Management, PUK Annual Magazine, Kabaret Kittens, former owner of an alternative art space, children's entertainment agency, and mother of one, is certainly a prime example of a 'sister' doing it for herself.

“The aim of the retreat is to assist women with boosting their confidence, enthusiasm, motivation, profitability and business knowledge,” Peita said. “It's also about encouraging networking and partnerships, all while rejuvenating the key person holding their business together – themselves!”

The two-day event will be located in Katoomba and features business, wellness and fun workshops, luncheons, an elaborate Roman palace themed dinner event, social walk through Katoomba to the Three Sisters lookout with a visit to the local Paragon chocolate factory on the way, atop a Women's Business Expo. ‚Äã‚Äã‚Äã‚Äã

“We are encouraging women to secure their position at the retreat now, to not only support this great cause, but to utilise this fun getaway to fuel their success, and get thinking about their business in a more creative way”.
