Tips to reset your mind and reboot your business

Local business owners and leaders have the chance to hear from three local experts on how to reset their mind and reboot their business at a workshop during Small Business Month (March).

Hosted by Lake Mac Business, the workshop will be run as an after work event at Toronto on 23 March.

The speakers are radio presenter turned communication coach and businessman, Garth Russell, Business Consultant, Leigh Cummings and Business Development and Recruitment Specialist, Cameron McDonell.

Lake Mac Business President, Richie Williams said the past two years have tested many businesses and their leaders and managers like never before.

“Thanks to support from the NSW Treasury, Lake Mac Business is bringing this workshop to give local people practical and sustainable tools to move forward in business with greater confidence and, importantly, renewed energy,” Richie said.

“Our expert presenters will be sharing insights to help participants change their mindset, create a new vision and better leverage their time.”

Garth, who is the Co-Founder and Coach at Wellbeings and Co, said the right mindset is crucial to feeling in control and being able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Leigh is Director at MINT Dynamics. She said taking time to get clear on where you want to take your business and then setting achievable goals to realise that vision is an important step in navigating the post COVID environment.

Cameron from Recruit Personnel used to advise startups and SMEs around the world before moving into the recruitment sector. He said time is a business person’s most important asset and they can leverage it through a better understanding of their people and how to care for them.

March is Small Business Month. Lake Mac Business received a NSW Government Small Business Month grant through NSW Treasury to assist with running the workshops.

The workshop is open to people from across the Hunter. Tickets are $20. For more information or to book visit www.lakemacbusiness.com.au/events.
