Event organiser, party stylist and Hunter region local Sarah Osmotherly (from Sugar Coated Mama) saw an opportunity to bring Kara to Australia after realising her popularity.

In 2014 she is touring Australia and will launch her six-city tour in Newcastle on Saturday, 14 February 2013.
Kara will share her party planning and styling knowledge, DIY tips and business prowess at her intensive workshop.
The workshop will be held at Newcastle City Hall from 8am to 12pm, giving Novocastrian party enthusiasts the rare opportunity to learn tricks of the trade from the best in the business.
“Following the workshop, Kara will be a special guest at Australia's biggest party fair, Confetti Fair from 1pm to 5pm, also to be held at City Hall in its Newcastle debut,” Sarah said.
Confetti Fair brings together up to 60 exhibitors in the categories of styling, sweets, décor, stationery, flowers, cakes, products, planning and dessert tables.
Kara said that Australia has been on her bucket list for a very long time, so she is thrilled to tour the country.
“With the ever increasing popularity of throwing impeccably planned and beautifully styled parties in Australia, I'm so excited to give aspiring Aussie hosts and party business owners the skills and confidence to create the perfect soiree with ease. Let's get this party started!” Kara said.
