nib foundation appoints new director

nib foundation has announced a new addition to its Board following the appointed prominent Hunter businessman, Justin Doyle.

The Hunter-based accountant is a founder of the financial services and business advisory firm, Doyle Partners, and a member of the Board of Advice of the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Newcastle.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle, a Diploma of Financial Services and is a registered tax agent. He is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

nib foundation Chairman, Keith Lynch, said that Justin brings a wealth of knowledge to the charitable foundation’s Board, particularly in the areas of business and finance.

“It’s important for all Boards to have a good balance of skill sets among their Directors. The foundation will benefit greatly from the 20 years of business knowledge and experience that Justin brings to the board,” Keith said.

“In addition, Justin has strong ties to the Hunter and a great sense of community, which will also serve him and the Board exceptionally well.”

“We welcome Justin to the Board and we look forward to the professional and valuable contribution that he will no doubt make.”

Justin joins nib foundation’s six-person volunteer Board of Directors, including Keith Lynch (Chair), Brenda Read, Mark Foster, Morgan Jones and Judi Geggie.

Since established in 2007 following nib’s demutualisation, nib foundation has pledged more than $12 million in funding to aid the development and delivery of unique and practicable health and wellbeing.
