Newcastle motor businesses join forces

Local owners of iconic Swedish and French vehicles have cause for celebration with McCarroll’s Volvo Renault and the Hunter Viking Car Care Centre joining forces to provide their Hunter customers with even better vehicle servicing.

Hunter Viking Centre Owner Gareth Trudgeon and his team will work along-side McCarroll’s staff at McCarroll’s 1,881 square metre, 16 hoist, service centre in Denney Street Broadmeadow.

Gareth has owned and operated Hunter Viking Centre from Georgetown for more than 22 years. He said the McCarroll’s centre had the latest equipment manufacturer based technology to allow him to better service customers particularly with the future of electric and hybrid cars fast approaching.

“We have been fortunate to have some great customers that have become friends and we look forward to giving them the service they expect at our new location,” Gareth said.

McCarroll’s Dealer Principal Simon McCarroll said Gareth was a pioneer in bringing Volvo to the Hunter region and providing local owners with outstanding after sales service.

Simon said Gareth and his team’s knowledge on Volvo, Renault and other European vehicles is unrivalled in the region and recognised as industry leading by manufacturers.

McCarroll’s established a Newcastle Volvo and Renault dealership in 2012. It has moved that dealership from its temporary home in Broadmeadow to a new 1,988 square metre, dealership in Dangar Street, Wickham.

“Our service centre and new dealerships are part of a multi-million investment in the Hunter vehicle industry to offer local people the very best sales and after sales service, including those who love European vehicles,” Simon said.
