Finding your starving crowd

Finding your starving crowd

Raise the Bar Newcastle recently held their second event, hosting author and marketer Robert Coorey.

Robert has built a super-responsive global online community of serious business owners, almost broke the world record for most number of people in a webinar, filled up dozens of live events, been featured extensively in the media, and launched three best-selling books.

He is also the co-creator and lead presenter of the upcoming Reality TV Pilot called “Business Rescue.” The TV Pilot takes struggling companies through a maze of marketing challenges over 30 days

Raise the Bar Newcastle co-founder and Chief Bar Raiser Rachael Sheldrick said that Robert is obsessed with helping others achieve unheard of results through innovative strategies to feed starving crowds of consumers. On several occasions, Robert has sent so much traffic to websites that they have fallen over and crashed, despite the largest of servers being in place.

“Attaining a business education is a necessity these days if you want your business to succeed,” Rachael said. “The best way to learn is from others who have walked the path to success before you. We were so pleased to welcome Robert to Newcastle to give some useable marketing advice to local business owners.”

Robert is the #1 Best-selling author of Feed A Starving Crowd, with all attendees receiving a free copy of the book.

“I was delighted to be speaking at Newcastle’s premier business event,” Robert said. “I was impressed with the quality of the attendees and the level of sophistication of many businesses in the Newcastle area. I am very excited to be working a lot closer with selected Newcastle businesses.”

Co-founder and Chief Bar Raiser Adele Martin acknowledges that the format of their events are very different to what Newcastle business owners are used to.

“As these events are purely focussed on taking Newcastle businesses to the next level through education, we don’t provide a dedicated networking time, or a sit down meal,” Adele said.

“The idea is that you come along and get an enormous amount of value, and go back to your business armed with new tips and strategies that you can implement straight away. Most of our entrepreneurs are also authors, and a copy of their book is included in the ticket price. That being said, we do encourage attendees to make the most of being in a room with so many amazing business owners, and make meaningful connections that could lead to new ventures.”

The next event will be held on Thursday, 23 July 2015 – An Evening With Kerrie Phipps. Tickets can be purchased online.
