A leading Hunter spa is expanding and moving to a new, larger premise within Westfield Kotara.
The owner of the Hunter’s three endota spas, Shivani Gupta says strong demand for its range of spa and beauty services means it is moving to Level 2 next to David Jones.
Fit out has commenced and the new spa will open mid-June. It will have two more spa rooms, including two double rooms. There will be 30 per cent more beds as well as a spray tan facility and relaxation lounge. The existing spa will remain open until the new spa is complete.
“We’re looking forward to being able to offer more people the chance to experience our haven for wellbeing,” Shivani said.
endota Kotara opened at Westfield five years ago. The expansion and relocation follows the opening of endota Green Hills at the redeveloped Stockland shopping centre at East Maitland in March.
Shivani said the response to the Green Hills spa has been amazing.
“There is a greater focus by people on wellness and taking time out to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect,” Shivani said.
“We’re seeing more women and men taking the time for a massage, facial or beauty treatment.
“When you look after yourself you have more energy for the other things in your life such as work and family.
“In aircraft safety demonstrations, they sensibly tell you to put on your own oxygen mask first before helping others and the same principle applies to life in general.”
The new spa will have room for endotas growing range of organic skin care products as well as it new homeware items such as oil burners, oil diffusers and ceramic mood lamps.
endota is Australia’s leading spa network with more than 100 spas across Australia. There is also an endota spa in King Street Newcastle.
