Digital Marketing Month for Port Stephens businesses

Digital Marketing Month for Port Stephens businesses

If your business is not online, you don’t exist. That’s the blunt message Port Stephens businesses will learn through ‘Digital Marketing Month’ this August, hosted by Destination Port Stephens.

Available to all businesses in the region, tourism related or not, the practical workshops are designed to help companies improve their online marketing, expand their digital footprint and grow their business.

The four different two-hour workshops will be held on 4, 11, 18 and 25 August in Port Stephens, with Destination Port Stephens offering all four for the price of three for any business keen to attend each of the sessions.

Destination Port Stephens CEO, Janelle Gardner, said these workshops were vital for any business to prosper in the digital age.

“Keeping up with the continual changes in the digital marketing world is almost a full time job so these digital workshops will provide the latest tools to help businesses maximise the opportunities, grow their brands and convert sales,” Janelle said.

She said online marketing was a low-cost but highly effective activity with the seminars expected to teach attendees how to make websites mobile friendly, engage social media users, build powerful databases, utilise video content and maintain social media channels.

The four workshops will be conducted by digital training specialists and each will conclude with expert panellists to provide feedback and real-life case studies to help understand how to apply best practice digital marketing and communications to all business. The four sessions, which run from 9.30-11.30am, are:

  • Building Your Digital Footprint | Tomaree Community College, Tuesday, 4 August 2015
  • Best Practice Email Marketing | Broughton’s at the Bay, Tuesday, 11 August 2015
