A group of executives who have worked internationally for some of the world’s most recognisable brands have launched a new business advisory service in Newcastle, CXO Advisors.
The new venture brings businesses operating in the Hunter the opportunity to access world-class executive level services on an ad hoc, interim or part-time basis – affording businesses a standard of expertise that may otherwise have been out of their price range.
The collective of senior executives, from across a variety of industries, offers an alternative to full-time recruitment for SMEs. Businesses can benefit from the experience of a CXO Advisor, working within their organisation, without having to increase head count or bear the costs of executive recruitment.
Graeme Keddie, founder and principal, says that CXO Advisors was created in response to significant demand in Newcastle and the Hunter region for high-level expertise, as businesses expand into new markets and new phases of growth.
“Newcastle is increasingly becoming known as an important national business centre, with the region having enjoyed relatively high periods of growth in recent years, despite the challenges presented by the GFC and downturn in demand for resources,” Graeme said.
“The long-term outlook for the Hunter is promising with a recent report from Deloitte Access Economics putting expected growth in the Hunter to 2036 at 75 per cent. The report also found that the Hunter region was contributing more than 8 per cent of Gross State Product and 2.6 per cent of GDP ‚Äì all good news for the region’s businesses.”
The Hunter launch of CXO Advisors follows a national trend of organisations recruiting professionals on a part-time basis, as a more cost-effective way of taking on highly experienced and recognised management.
“CXO Advisor Services have been designed so that local businesses can expand in the current economic climate. We also offer services to national or international businesses who have established a presence in the Hunter region, looking to fill on-the-ground (OTG) capability gaps or overcome strategic challenges.”
