

Cam Macphee has been appointed as a non-executive Director of Newcastle Airport.
Newcastle Airport’s Chairman, Peter Gesling, said that the appointment was part of the natural Board refresh program.
“Cam has had extensive aviation, transport and aerospace experience which also included a CEO caretaker role at Newcastle Airport before the current CEO Dr Peter Cock was appointed in 2015,” Peter said.
Cam is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has consulted to the aviation, tourism, and engineering sectors; and also held the role of General Manager Aviation Business Development at Brisbane Airport for more than a decade.
“Cam brings significant experience and expertise to the board which will be instrumental in helping the organisation plan the future needs of our region’s major transport hub,” Peter said.
Directors are elected annually for up to three years and can be reappointed subsequently.
