The Business Centre has launched The Rippler Effect Innovation Program 2015, designed to help businesspeople build and grow good ideas and connects with top entrepreneurs and innovators.
Program facilitator Christina Gerakiteys says that we are living in a time of continuous change.
“In facing changes we meet obstacles that at times appear insurmountable however if you’re ready to push the boundaries, to challenge the status quo, to question the way you face the world, to change the way you think and respond then you’re ready for Rippler,” Christina said.
She continued by saying that the Rippler Effect is a proven program in business innovation.
“The seven-week adventure provides an environment for participants to reflect, question, step out, develop confidence, collaborate and network.”
The program aims to impacts the way attendees perceive leadership, opportunities, collaboration and success. The Rippler Effect provides participants with the tools and knowledge to enable that extraordinary leap off the ledge to opportunity. It also provides National Accreditation in Innovation Practise and Innovation Management.
“Our first wave of Rippler graduates have already made paradigm shifts in their thinking,” Christina continued.
“An engineer found that the course inspired them to challenge conventional practices and gave them the confidence to stand up and say they need to be more innovative and come up with smart solutions to stay competitive.”
“A Partner in a law firm said that they expected a “how to ” course with notes etc. After a short while they realised you cannot, by definition “innovate” by learning. It was great to see the light bulb moment for this participant as they realised you need to discover what you can do by listening and seeing what others have done,” Christina concluded.
