Allambi Care has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner in The Australian Business Awards 2022 for Training Excellence.
In their 17th year, the awards are an annual all-encompassing program that recognises organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of established business and product award categories.
Director of Organisational Development at Allambi Care, Mark Said said the award affirms their commitment to continuous improvement and innovative business processes.
“This is an extraordinary achievement for Allambi Care and our Learning and Development Team who have worked hard to build a Professional Development Pathway over many years,” Mark said.
“The Professional Development Pathway is uniquely developed to guide the work of Allambi’s staff and includes in-house training programs such as Core Training, Probationary Learning, Role Specific Training, a Diploma in Community Services and an undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree.
“The design of the training is highly contextualised and is based on Allambi Care’s commitment to respond to the multiple needs of people rather than requiring them to adjust to a pre-determined course booklet. A critical component in the design of the training is that staff undertake workplace assessment with the clients they work with every day, ensuring those individuals feel safe, connected and secure.”
Allambi Care recognise the value of investing in their people and the long-term impact of lifting the qualification and skills of staff is immeasurable. Allambi also provide specialised training in Cultural Awareness, Practice Reflection, Case Planning and various training offered on a needs-basis.
Awards Program Director, Tara Johnston said the Australian Business Awards are proud to acknowledge the role of leading corporate, government and non-government organisations for implementing innovative, well-managed high-performing business initiatives and for the research and development of their innovative products and services.
“Many of these organisations are high performers in product, process, and business-model innovation, demonstrating leadership in preparing for a future transformed by digital technologies in an unprecedented era, reimagining new ways of collaborating and learning, and refining business models that create and capture value,” Tara said.
“There has never been a more pertinent time for organisations to create value and transform workplace collaboration, unleashing new opportunities to innovate and expand competitive advantage. Investment in innovative business processes correlates to improved business performance, positively impacting organisations with long-term gains in efficiency, productivity and customer loyalty.”
Entry into the awards is open to all private and public companies, multinationals and their subsidiaries, non-government organisations, educational institutions, government departments, government agencies, government authorities and statutory bodies that have successfully executed a business, management, community initiative or developed an innovative product or service.
Organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement are recognised via a set of established business and product award categories. The program provides a significant opportunity for high-performing organisations that implement world-class business initiatives and develop innovative products and services to be acknowledged and honoured for their achievements, nationally and internationally.
