Evolving from Walker & Co Accountants, Brett Walker says the group has committed time and resources to developing a true culture embodying the core values of being genuine, responsive, collaborative, progressive, and empowering.

“We have done this because people are the lifeblood of an organisation, and when you have a clear culture, clients will experience the difference,” Brett said.

A recent move to a purpose built premises in Broadmeadow has meant that they are able to foster their relationships with clients and business associates, as well as their team, with the strong intention of creating a truly valuable experience for all.

Both Brett and David have employed innovative approaches to bring together modern day aesthetics, along with ancient philosophies of feng shui. The result is a humble ‘look and feel’ with a brand and premise that demonstrates a fresh approach, with traditional values.

Right from the outset, using an advanced recruitment process, Active Accounting Group, will only employ team members whereby their natural instincts (measured using psychometric profiling) align to the role requirements to ensure every person has an opportunity to thrive at work creating a happy workplace.

David Woods explains that each of the staff are part of an ongoing Team Success Mentoring program where they are exposed to philosophies and concepts to enable them to foster personal growth and development.
