Prosperity is delighted to be acknowledged as the Cancer Council Pro Bono Award winner at the Hillross Financial Adviser Awards.
The Hillross awards showcase advisers who are leading examples in the finance sector and are making outstanding contributions in their community.
Hillross Managing Director, Chris Digby congratulated the winners and the finalists in each category, saying the stories highlighted the great work advisers were doing for their clients while dealing with unprecedented change in their industry.
“The daily reality of financial advice is revealed in the stories from our winners of helping clients secure their financial futures, supporting their colleagues through challenging times and building great businesses,” Mr Digby said.
Receiving the award on behalf of Prosperity, Hamish Landreth who lead Prosperity’s project said a few words.
“Working with referrals from the Cancer Council has been challenging but extremely rewarding,” Mr. Landreth said.
“Sometimes it’s easy to forget that what we do can have a massively positive impact for people, not just in the outcomes we achieve for them but the peace of mind they get knowing someone is “taking care of it” for them. Thank you to Prosperity for supporting me in being able to provide this service to the local community.” he said.
“We are very proud to have Hamish as part of the Prosperity team and are delighted that we have been recognised for making a real difference to the lives of individuals and their families by using our skills and expertise for the benefit of those less fortunate,” Allan McKeown, CEO and Founder of Prosperity Advisers Group said.
