Osborn Law have started off 2023 with the appointment of its first partner, Laura Bennett.
Managing Director, Tim Osborn said that Laura has been an integral part of the Osborn Law team for the past 10 years.
“Since joining Osborn Law, Laura has been a critical part of our team, not only in developing our Commercial and Property expertise, but as an invaluable support and friend to Christie and me,” Tim said.
In her new role, Laura will continue to assist in leading and mentoring the team and work with Solicitor Directors, Tim Osborn and Christie Howson, in the overall running of Osborn Law.
Laura has particular expertise in commercial contract negotiations and drafting and regularly assists clients with supply agreements, shareholder and unitholder agreements, share transactions and business sale and purchase agreements, large commercial and residential land sale and purchase transactions, and residential and strata subdivisions and consolidations.
Tim said Laura goes above and beyond for our clients, providing quality service and advice with her can do attitude.
“This approach helps make Laura an exceptional lawyer,” Tim said.
“This is why we are so lucky to have her as part of the Osborn Law leadership team. She also brings a lot of vivacity to our Osborn Law family with her quick-witted sense of humour, her making-work-fun attitude and living our values each day.
“Laura is particularly passionate about giving back to the community and has been a driving force behind a number of working bees at Harry’s House as well as team baking efforts in support of Soul Café and Ronald McDonald House,” Tim said.
Laura said she is excited to have the opportunity to help further lead and mentor her team while continuing to work closely with clients.
