Four local businesses have come together to create the Lake Macquarie Business Hub, a one stop shop for legal and financial advice for small businesses and business owners in Lake Macquarie.
The hub has been jointly founded by BMK Financial Services, Catherine Henry Lawyers, Lake Macquarie Financial Planning, and Tenth Avenue Accounting Pty Ltd.
Hub spokesperson and Practice Principal at Lake Macquarie Financial Planning, Tony Pereira, said there are many benefits that will come from the four businesses collaborating for both their current clients and the businesses themselves.
Tony said the four businesses share a vision to give clients, highly professional, holistic advice and support, including beyond their specific area of expertise.
“We each share a genuine desire for deeper client relationships to help our clients to achieve success,” Tony said.
Brad Lonergan of BMK Financial Services said each business is also educating the others in the latest issues and trends in their fields. He said this is useful for staff and clients.
“For example, the laws and regulations around Super and Financial Services are always changing but together we can make sure our clients financial and legal affairs are properly structured,” Brad said.
Matthew Connell of Tenth Avenue Accounting, said between them, the four firms have almost over eighty years of experience in supporting local people and businesses.
He said all four firms are experienced in supporting individuals through to start ups and larger businesses.
“We can confidently refer our clients for specialist advice in areas outside of our business,” Matthew said.
Alan Wright from Catherine Henry Lawyers said every legal and financial aspect, from a personal and business sense, is covered by the firms across retirement planning, business investing, business building, succession planning, insurance, superannuation, tax, accounting, family or relationship law and estate planning.
He said in all four businesses, the directors are actively involved in running the business and delivering services to clients.
The hub will regularly share resources and tips with clients and the broader business community, including via its Facebook page and free seminars. It also has an office at 430 Pacific Highway, Belmont.
The Hub’s first free seminar is on Wednesday 20 November at the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club.
It will cover transitioning out of business including retirement planning, selling your business and loan restructuring.
