Mark Hickey has been appointed as Chairman of the Board at Sparke Helmore Lawyers.
Based in the firm’s Newcastle office, Mark is a Partner in the Corporate Group and has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate transactions, capital raisings and property infrastructure development. He has advised on a number of major property and infrastructure projects in Australia and the Middle East, as well as the listing of a number of companies on the ASX and Alternate Investment Market in the UK.

Mark joined the firm in 2000 and leads the Corporate team in the Hunter region. He provides corporate advisory services involving transactional mergers, acquisitions and disposals for mid-market SMEs in the mining services, bio-techs, technology and engineering sectors.
Mark is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Board of HunterNet.
