An enormous hunger for success and a desire to see the best in others has seen the Managing Director of A.I.R Recruitment, Suzie Ninevski, recognised as one of only four national finalists in the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association Australia & New Zealand (RCSA) Awards.

Suzie has been nominated as a finalist for her exceptional industry prowess in the coveted Rising Star of 2020 category.

Releasing the finalist names last week, the RCSA told nominees they had received a record number of entries in 2020 – so competition is fiercer than ever before just to get to the finals.

The RCSA is the peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in Australia and New Zealand.

The prestigious RCSA Industry Awards provide the opportunity to recognise the best of the best in the recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions sector in Australia and New Zealand.

These coveted awards are among the most prestigious in the sector and highlight the outstanding achievers operating in the space.

A.I.R Recruitment is a boutique national recruitment agency based in Newcastle driven by passion and the challenge of connecting quality candidates to careers that deliver success.

From a start-up business in 2018, Suzie has single-handedly grown her business, as she continues her own path of success. But A.I.R Recruitment is about much more than financial rewards or KPI’s.

“I’m passionate about connecting opportunities that deliver results, assist with business growth through talent acquisition, and help individuals reach their full potential,” Suzie said.

“As a Director and Recruiter, what sets me apart is the successful hands-on experience I’ve gained throughout my career in sales, marketing, media, advertising, management and administration.

“Whilst in these roles, I’ve worked closely among the health, aged care, education, mining, industrial, building and construction, food manufacturing, media, service, sports and retail industries. I thrive on challenges and enjoy tackling complex situations.”

Suzie was quick to admit that her success hasn’t come without the help of her support network.

“But I wouldn’t be in this position of being Nationally recognised without the support and encouragement of my incredible clients. They believed in me and I am so grateful to them all.”

It was important for Suzie to add an education component to her business, creating a partnership with Stride Learning to provide short courses, Certificate courses and Diploma qualification options to clients across Logistics, Administration, Finance, Aged Care and Child Care.

A.I.R Recruitment has seen such incredible growth that later in 2020 the business will move to new premises.

Suzie showed her incredible care for the wider community, recently joining forces with State Member for Wallsend, Sonia Hornery MP, to help support those who are under financial and career stress during the COVID-19 crisis.

“The past months have seen the world change for individuals, small businesses and corporate Australia in a way we could never have dreamed possible and the least I could do was offer my help; financial and career – all free of charge,” she said.

“It’s vitally important during these difficult and unprecedented times that we all support each other and lend a hand where possible. I want to give back and support communities in any way possible.”
