Local firm expands financial services

Jirsch Sutherland Partner, Stewart Free, has become one of only six professionals in Newcastle to hold a Trustee in Bankruptcy license, a qualification he received in July.

Stewart understands that bankruptcy is a sensitive issue, particularly on a personal level.

“I am looking forward to applying my skills and knowledge to transition clients through an understandably difficult period,” Stewart said.

“The license allows us to provide personal financial affairs to our clients, in addition to corporate matters and is part of our commitment to provide a comprehensive range of services.”

Stewart has in excess of 16 years insolvency and reconstruction experience and has undertaken a wide variety of assignments on a formal and informal basis.

His no nonsense approach when dealing with all stakeholders enables clear and achievable strategies to be implemented resulting in the most commercial outcomes for all involved.

Stewart has extensive experience in pursuing litigation with the assistance of third party funders which, in conjunction with his commercial ability, has resulted in many positive outcomes for creditors that would otherwise not have been possible.

Jirsch Sutherland provides forensic accounting and insolvency services. The firm is a trusted adviser that helps create sustainable business models.
