In a post royal commission world where financial advisors are experiencing extreme scrutiny, one Newcastle firm is receiving national recognition for doing things differently.
Infinity Financial Advisors has made a name in Australia for being unique in its investment approach and holding a belief in providing more than a set and forget service.
Managing Director, Andrew Masson said the Infinity team live and breathe investing and know that it’s in the daily management of money that gains are made.
This active approach to investment has paid off for Infinity as they have just been shortlisted for the prestigious ifa Excellence Awards 2018.
The team is in the running to win Boutique Advice Firm of the Year 2018 and Andrew has been nominated for Investment Advisor of the Year.
Andrew said receiving two nominations is particularly special to him.
“I dared to challenge the status quo by starting Infinity, so to receive the recognition from ifa after only two years in business is a huge honour,” Andrew said.
“We are looking forward to a future where clients are empowered to choose advisors who will work hard to maximise their returns.”
The Boutique Advice Firm of the Year nomination is based on business growth metrics as well as support and servicing.
Andrew’s nomination for Investment Advisor of the Year puts him in the competitive category of Australia’s top investment advice specialists, with judges considering not only the delivery of best practice but also the aptitude and acumen to build a successful, client-driven advice business in considering finalists.
The winners will be announced at The Hyatt Regency Sydney this Friday, 7 September 2018.
The ifa Excellence Awards are the benchmark for excellence in the independent financial advice sector.
