Workplace and industrial relations Barrister, Fiona Hancock has joined Moray & Agnew Lawyer’s Newcastle office as a Special Counsel.
Fiona’s expertise is in employment; industrial relations; work, health and safety; and anti-discrimination. She has defended employer clients in work health and safety prosecutions; industrial disputes; underpayment of wages claims; unfair dismissal and adverse action applications; and breach of contract disputes.
Partner and head of the Newcastle workplace team for Moray & Agnew Lawyers, Elizabeth Radley said she is excited to welcome Fiona to the team.

Fiona has represented clients in all relevant NSW and Australian courts and industrial tribunals.
Fiona was admitted to practise law in NSW and the Federal Court in 2003, and joined the Bar in 2004. She is a member of the Industrial Relations Society of NSW, the Law Society of NSW, the NSW Bar Association, The Resolution Institute, Women Lawyers Association of NSW and The Medico-Legal Society of NSW.
Moray & Agnew specialises in insurance, commercial and workplace legal services. The Newcastle team has grown to around 100 people who deliver commercial advice and legal service to clients including Australian and international insurers and reinsurers, insurance intermediaries, large and medium corporates, and federal, state and local government. The firm itself has tripled in size over the past decade.
