Lake Macquarie Mum wins gold twice at 2022 AusMumpreneur Awards

Lake Macquarie local and Love from Mim Founder, Mim Jenkinson has been named the gold winner at the 2022 AusMumpreneur Awards in the categories of Best Business Coach and Leadership awards.

The Awards, held in Sydney, celebrate mums in the entrepreneurial business space across Australia.

Mim said she was excited to win gold in her categories at the Awards.

“Winning the gold awards for Best Coach and Leadership was a celebration not only for me, but for the 4,000 women all over the world that I have supported to find joy, passion and success in creating and selling their own digital products,” Mim said.

Mim was also named the bronze winner in the People’s Choice category for Making a Difference in Business.

“In my categories, I was so inspired by the talent and passion that the other women had and how they are striving to make a difference for women every day,” Mim said.

The AusMumpreneur Awards are presented by The Women’s Business School and were created to inspire, celebrate, and provide a community for Australian entrepreneurs.

Co-Founder of The Women’s Business School, Peace Mitchell said now more than ever Australian women need inspirational role models and an inclusive and supportive space to connect online.

“These awards are all about recognising the growing number of mums who are achieving outstanding business success while balancing motherhood,” Peace said.

“Each year these awards uncover incredible women, and we were blown away by the entrepreneurial spirit of this year’s award winners and I know that they will provide great inspiration for other women thinking about starting their own business.”

Now in its 13th year, the AusMumpreneur Awards have seen the business mum community grow as mothers look for opportunities to join the ranks of small business owners in search of more flexibility, financial freedom, and family time.

The Women’s Business School Co-Founder, Katy Garner said the Awards highlight the passion of women who want to fulfil their entrepreneurial dreams as well as be great mums.

“The number of women starting businesses has continued to grow in 2022. Of the 670,000 women operating a small business in Australia currently, around 50 per cent are mums with children at home,” Katy said.

“We are proud to be a community for mumpreneurs and showcase the best and the brightest each year through these Awards.”
