For school leavers with disability, injury, or mental health concerns, entering the workforce for the first time can be especially daunting. Thankfully Joblife Employment has specialist support to help young people navigate the next stage of their lives.
Joblife CEO, Nunzia Confessore, says there are many school leavers that are unsure of what to do next and that is where the team at Joblife Employment can help.
“The unknown can be really scary for school leavers and young people, particularly those that may have a disability, injury or a health condition. It can feel very overwhelming. We offer specialist support to school leavers which can help guide them to employment.”
“Our vision is a job for everybody, and we genuinely believe that to be true. It only takes one look at our diverse and courageous teams to see that we live our truth of an inclusive workforce.”
“Forty-one per cent of our staff identify as living with a disability and our goal is that by the end of 2023, we increase this to 50%. It is really important for people we are working with, especially school leavers, that we understand and have an idea of what they are going through.”
