Jenkins Legal Services has welcomed two additional lawyers to its team of six lawyers, one paralegal and two support staff.
Jack Lindgren and Michael Volschenk have joined the team to add to the wealth of experience offered by the business.
Jack has an experienced background in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, having acted for individuals and businesses across NSW in a broad range of commercial disputes and debt recoveries. Jack has been involved in litigation in the Local, District, Federal and Supreme Courts of NSW, in disputes concerning franchising, intellectual property, defamation, building and construction, debt recovery and contracts, with a particular focus on bankruptcy, insolvency and strata law.
Jack comes from a well-known Newcastle legal family, with father, Ross, a former Partner at a prominent Newcastle firm, and uncle, Kevin, a former Judge of the Federal Court of Australia.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting and finance) from the University of Newcastle in 2012 and started his career as a Proprietaries Trader in Sydney, followed by experience at a Newcastle financial and investment services firm.
During this time, Michael was exposed to a variety of legal issues which piqued his interest and prompted him to pursue a career in law instead. This has been fortunate for Jenkins Legal Services, as Michael has hit the ground running as a lawyer since being admitted in March this year.
Michael said working at Jenkins Legal Services has been an extremely positive experience.
“The team provides a deep level of expertise to our clients. I immediately felt an atmosphere of support and mentorship from all members of the firm,” Michael said.
Since its establishment by Legal Director, Micah Jenkins nearly four years ago, the firm has added five lawyers to the team, extended its premises and significantly developed its knowledge base.
Micah believes the success of Jenkins Legal Services is due to the depth of experience and dedication of the team.
“Our focus is always on the client and providing them with the highest level of service to ensure their outcome and experience is as positive and stress-free as possible,” Micah said.
“Our motto is to be dependable, authentic, and strategic, and Jack and Michael have adopted this mantra as their own. We’re excited for what the future holds.”
