- Tell us about the journey that led you to where you are now?
At the beginning, I was not in real estate. I started my career when I was 21. I opened my own business at that age and then it basically developed from there. I have always been in marketing and sales.
- Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur? Not really. I always surrounded myself with very successful people, so whether that was somebody overseas and I was just reading about them or they were part of my team.
I always wanted to be inspiring and do things differently. So, if that’s an entrepreneur, well I guess that’s me.
- What is one action or task you ensure you incorporate into your diary each week?
I would really look at connecting leads; my clients. Looking after my clients is the most important thing. Being absolutely transparent and delivering a foundation of strategies to optimise their selling. It’s all about making sure we provide the best possible marketing and tap into the right market so that we can extract those premium prices. So connecting with my clients is paramount.
- What do you attribute your success to?
For me, it’s really making sure I’m doing a fantastic job and delivering on those key deliverables for my clients and being very transparent. It’s important that I deliver a great outcome, and that outcomes is to achieve a great sale for my customers.
- Who is a local entrepreneur that you find inspiring?
There are so many inspiring people out there from every walk of life. I would have to point out one key person and then pull from a global point because I’m so passionate about so many people out there.
Locally, I would have to say Hilton Grugeon. He’s pretty cool in my opinion.
Then moving further, I would be looking at people who are not so much here anymore, but Mother Theresa, who is a classic example of helping people on a humanitarian level. Princess Diana, Jackie Onassis, and even Janet Holmes are also people who I find fascinating. And Frank Sinatra, I mean how cool was he in his day? There are so many.
