Law firm, Hicksons has appointed Lachlan Wilson as a Partner in the Newcastle office, building upon its strong presence in the region.
Lachlan is an experienced Litigator with a particular focus on commercial and insurance disputes, construction and insolvency.
He has experience with a wide range of matters including complex commercial and insolvency litigation, insurance litigation, construction disputes and professional indemnity and negligence.
Lachlan is also an Accredited Specialist in Dispute Resolution and was recently included in Best Lawyers Australia for Insolvency and Reorganisation Law.
Before joining Hicksons, Lachlan was the Executive Head at DWF Australia’s Newcastle office, practising as a Principal Lawyer in its commercial disputes and insolvency group, and prior to that he was Special Counsel at Sparke Helmore Lawyers.
Partner in Charge at Hicksons Newcastle, Najeh Marhaba said the team are excited to have Lachlan on board, noting his experience as a great asset to have in their office.

Since launching the Newcastle office of Hicksons in 2006, it has continued to grow in the Hunter Region.
